Michael J. Eizelman concentrates his practice concentrates in the areas of business law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities regulation. Mr. Eizelman was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 27, 1952. He was admitted to the bar in Michigan in 1978 and in the District of Columbia in 1982. He received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University (B.A., 1974), his law degree from Detroit College of Law (now known as the Law College at Michigan State University) (J.D., 1978), and his Masters of Law in Taxation from Georgetown University Law School (L.L.M., 1982). Mr. Eizelman was a Note and Comment Editor for the Detroit College of Law Review, and authored the Note, "License Revocation and Procedural Due Process." He was a Staff Attorney for the Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Investment Management from 1979 to 1980. He was a Senior Staff Attorney for the Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Corporation Finance in 1980 and 1981.
